“We knew before we were even engaged that we wanted Classic City Catering for our wedding and it was honestly a major factor in choosing our reception venue.

We first met David at an open house before we were engaged, and in one short conversation, he completely inspired our vision. He suggested a raw oyster bar and a jazz band for cocktail hour, something we had never considered or even dreamed of, but once he said it, we were hooked. Fast forward to our wedding day, and it was everything he helped us imagine, and more.

The tasting experience was just as incredible. David took the time to truly get to know us- our story, our families, and the kinds of food we love. I was very clear that I wanted classic dishes executed exceptionally well, rather than something overly trendy that might fall short. Somehow, we got the best of both worlds: timeless, high-quality food that still felt personal and unique to us. Our unofficial theme was “When y’all meets youse guys,” blending my Southern roots with my husband’s Italian/Pennsylvania background, and the menu reflected that perfectly from cocktail hour through dinner and late night. Our guests are still talking about the food!

Lastly, the level of service was incredibly important to us. Both my husband and I spent the early part of our careers in the hospitality industry, and we wanted our guests to feel truly taken care of. Classic City exceeded every expectation. The food was outstanding, but the service and attention to detail truly set them apart. The entire team went above and beyond in every way.
